CONTEMPORARY FLOORWORK

Spencer Grady (he/they) is a dancer, choreographer, artistic director, bodyworker, lighting designer, and urban gardener based in Nashville, TN. He is the co-director of MauveTaupe (@mauvetaupe.friends), an experimental dance theatre project that has been presenting new duet works annually since 2022. He recently premiered his solo "spine" in the 2024 Kindling Arts Festival. As a freelance artist his work ranges in concert dance, live performance, music videos, short films, and teaching workshops. He has worked with New Dialect. PYDANCE, Novel, SIdra Bell and many others in LA, Seattle, New York, and Indianapolis.
