RAINBOWDANCE, DANCING WITH PARKINSON'S

JULIA MARX, MA, R-DMT
Julia Marx holds a Master’s Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and has completed the teacher training workshop offered by Dance for PD®.  She has taught Dancing with Parkinson’s classes since 2013 in Nashville and Boston, MA. 

Julia also holds an M.F.A in modern dance and has danced professionally for choreographers in Utah, San Francisco, and Boston. She has taught creative movement to young children for more than 20 years in schools, studios, after-school programs and community centers. Julia is passionate about teaching children to use the elements of dance to explore movement and their unique forms of expression. Julia is also a mental health counselor with particular expertise working with children with disabilities.
