Common FAQs

where can i locate the dress code?
You can view the dress code on our website
wILL MY CHILD PERFORM?
Performance is introduced in a developmentally appropriate way.  For all classes, an observation class at the end of the fall and spring sessions serves as a time when the students can share what they have learned with their family members and friends and is a great way to introduce them to dancing in front of an audience.
AM I PERMITTED TO WATCH MY CHILD'S CLASS?
Parents and family members are not allowed to watch classes inside the studio unless invited by the instructor or given permission by the supervisor. We happily welcome you to watch classes during Observation Week, the last week of classes each term.  We encourage attendance at Observation Day and know this is a special and unique educational opportunity. You will see your student’s progression and experience class from start to finish. We recommend staying to observe the entire class.

CAN I REGISTER FOR CLASSES MID-YEAR?
New students for fall classes may register for entry-level classes without supervisor approval. All new students wishing to join mid-year must have the Dance Division Supervisor’s approval before registering for a Winter/Spring class to ensure appropriate placement, and that there is room in the class.
